About Dr. Lucian Panait
As a Yale University fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Lucian Panait has the advanced qualifications and expertise to offer best-in-class complex obesity treatment. He established the first outpatient bariatric center in Minnesota, which received Center of Excellence accreditation by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Panait has a long track record of research and has published numerous articles and book chapters on topics related to robotic surgery, new minimally invasive surgery techniques, and surgical simulation. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and holds leadership positions in the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He has lectured at national and international conferences on bariatric-related topics.
